Huskies
Alumni
"Five
Decades of Players"
The
Edmonton Huskies have a long and proud history that spans 5 decades.
Thousands of players, coaches, and executive have donned the black
and gold and waived the Huskies banner with pride. As a way of
maintaining our Huskies Heritage, we would like to compile an
on-line email list that would link past and present Huskies and
allow them to stay in touch with the team as they battle for the
coveted Canadian Bowl.

We
encourage any and all former alumni to send a note to alumni@edmontonhuskies.com
so we can add you to our list and keep you apprised of the developments
of your team. Weekly media releases will be sent to you regarding
pregame/postgame summaries, player of the week selections and
other relative media coverage.

Huskie
Pride Looks Like This
2004
& 2005 Provincial Championship Ring
Championship
Ring
The
Edmonton Huskies were very proud to have presented their players,
coaches, directors and team staff with their championship
rings a few weeks past. The function was a very special night
as the team revealed a championship banner which will hang
proudly in Huskie House as well as the team watched a highlight
package of the season that was. The highlight of the evening
though was of course the unveiling of the rings.
Top Face:
The traditional Huskie dog head is surrounded by 40 diamonds
representing it has been 40 years since the team won their
last championship. The Dogs eyes are Sapphire diamonds representing
the natural colour of a Huskies eyes. The nose of the Dog
is an onyx stone which represents the Huskie graduation ring
which displays a large onyx stone. the Edmonton Huskies name
and the words National Champions are also on the face of the
ring.
Left Side:
The score (Huskies 24 Sun 7) is displayed on either side of
the official logo of the 2004 Canadian Bowl. along the bottom
part of the CB logo is the banner with the word Believe across
it...this was the Huskies motto for the 2004 season. The letters
CJFL represent the Canadian Junior Football League.
Right Side:
The player, coach, director or staff members last name sits atop
an outline of Commonwealth stadium where the championship was
won. In the middle of the stadium is the Canadian Bowl trophy.
Placed at the bottom of the stadium is the number of the player
or the position of the coach, director or staff member.
On the inside of the ring, each individual was given the opportunity
to have their personal ring engraved with up to 17 characters.
The Edmonton Huskies
Football Club are very proud of their accomplishment this past
season and we hope to be able to share this excitement with many
of our former alumni this coming season.
